Andrea passed away in Phoenix, AZ on Monday, June 4, 2007.
Andrea is survived by her daughters, Helen Martínez of Woodbridge, VA and Lila Gonzáles and her husband, Ron of Phoenix, AZ, grandchildren, Danita Jones and her husband, Ken, Christina Browning and her husband, Tony, Bobby Martínez and his fiancée, Melissa Caldwell, Gregg Gonzáles and his wife, Barbara and Erik Gonzáles and his wife, Melissa and great-grandson, Max Browning, brothers, Jesús M. Baca and his wife, Erminia, Herman J. Baca and his wife, Lucy, sisters, Priscilla Waltz and her husband, Stan, Agnes Lindsay and her husband, Bill, Isabel May, Mitzi Swanson and her husband, Rick and several nieces and nephews who adored her and thought of her as a special aunt.
Andrea was preceded in death by her parents, Juan B. and Elena S. Baca and brother, Miguel Baca.
Her first love was her family and her second love was nursing. Andrea lived in Albuquerque since the beginning of her nursing career which spanned over 50 years. Andrea was an OR nurse and worked at various hospitals in the Albuquerque area. Andrea was greatly respected by her peers and the doctors she worked with.
A Memorial Rosary will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, June 15, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Risen Savior Catholic Community, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM. Enichement will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Albuquerque, NM.
