Wanda J. Wilson Trost, 83 of St. Anthony, ID. Passed peacefully into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father May 9, 2010, surrounded by family who loved her dearly.

She was born Dec. 19, 1926 in Plano, ID. The daughter of Arthur Winslow Wilson and Grace Jackson Wilson. She attended grade school in Rexburg until the family moved to Helper, UT. When she was in the 6th grade. She skipped the 7th grade and her father was her 8th grade teacher. The family moved back to Rexburg where she met her lifelong sweetheart, Rulon Milton Trost. She graduated from Madison High in l944 where she was a covaledictorian, and then attended Rick's College.

Rulon and Wanda were married July 14, 1946 in her father's home. The marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on Sept. 27, 1986. They have lived in St. Anthony for many years where her husband operated Trost Feed and Seed.

Together they raised four wonderful children. Wanda was a devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed cleaning, cooking, reading, and working in her yard. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served for many years in the Relief Society and as a visiting teacher. She also served in the Primary and Young Women's. She was devoted to her calling as a leader and teacher. She touched the lives of many members of her ward and community. She was full of life and spent countless hours having fun with her family and helping others. She had a wonderful sense of humor and could make anyone feel like a million bucks.

Survivors include her loving husband, Rulon Milton Trost, of St. Anthony, Her children, Rulon Lane (Bette) Trost, Portland, OR., Rand W. Trost, Boise, ID., Wade A (Terri) Trost, St. Anthony, ID.; and Gay Lyn (Zane) Miller, Colorado Springs, CO.; 14 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her two brothers: Artie and Garth Wilson.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 a.m. In the Twin Groves 2nd LDS Ward Church with Bishop Gerald Hackworth, Officiating. Family will meet with friends from 6:30 to 8:30 Friday evening at the Bidwell Funeral Home and from 10:00 a.m. Until 10:45 just prior to the services. Burial will be in the Rexburg, Cemetery.
