Manuel Casados, age 80, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2007.
Manuel is survived by his son, Gil Casados, daughters, Dorothy Romero and her husband, Daniel, Tillie McCann and her husband, Dean, Sadie Ortega and her husband, Eloy and Theresa Frésquez and her husband, Tim, 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, special brother and sister, Yolanda Casados and Ernesto Casados and his wife, Mary and numerous other relatives and friends.
Manuel was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years, Nellie and brother, Albertino Casados.
Manuel was born in Cerrillos, NM on April 26, 1927 to Ramon and Tillie Casados.
Manuel enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with his family and left them all with many fond memories.
Manuel was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A Rosary will be recited at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church, 3400 4th St. NW on Sunday, October 21, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. with Deacon Manuel Montoya reciting. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church on Monday, October 22, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with interment following at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Phil Casados, Jeremy McCann, Eloy J. Ortega, Carlos Aguirre, Lawrence Woods and Daniel Romero. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dean McCann and Adrian McCann.
