Mrs. Chloie Eva Lee Owens, Centerville, N.Y., passed away at her home, Friday, January 12, 1934.
Chloie Dick was born in Townwood, Ohio, January 15, 1892.
She was united in marriage to James. L. Owens, November 8, 1920, at Toledo, Ohio. They moved to Cleveland, Ohio, where they resided until 3 years ago when they moved to Centerville.
She was a member of the West Park M.E. Church of Cleveland, O., also the Earl Rebekah Lodge.
She was a tender, loving wife and mother and was dearly loved by all who knew her.
She was tenderly cared for during her long illness by her husband, mother-in-law, and niece.
Those who remain to mourn the loss of the dear one, are; her husband and three children; mother, father, three sisters and not brother.
The funeral services were held in the Centerville M.E. Church with a short reading and prayer at the home Monday, January 15, 1934, Rev. Sherger, Rushford, and Rev. Gomer Mills, Sandusky, officiating.
Two favorite hymns were sung and she was laid at rest in Freedom cemetery.
The beautiful floral pieces sent by relatives and friends bore silent testimony of the high esteem in which she was held.
