George William Plier was born in Kimberly Wisconsin, he was the son of Jonathon Plier and Anna Biver. He had two brothers and seven sisters. He married Viola Scherr in 1913 and together they had four children: Ruth, Esther, Robert and Alice (see memorial 1135357) for Alice. George was a traveling salesman the Peterson oven company.
