Mrs. Effie Bass Wright died Friday March 17 1944 at the residence of her son, M. L. Wright 713 Gallatin Road. She was age 75, widow of the late James Davis Wright. Survived by sons. W. P. of Hermitage, Tenn., H. W. of Lebanon, Tenn., D. E. of Mt. Juliet, Tenn., J. D., B. G. and M. L. of Nashville, Tenn., and *E. C. Bashaw of United Naval Training Station, Purdue University, Lafayette, Ind: daughters, Mrs. Lola Carson of Lebanon, Tenn., and Mrs. E. G. Wright of Lavergne, Calif., and Mrs. R.C. Flippo of Fort Smith, Ark;, brothers, Harry and Frank Bass of Martha, Tenn,: sister, Mrs. Edgar Curd of Mt. Juliet, Tenn., also 18 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Remains are at the residence as above. Funeral service from Pleasant Grove Church this Sunday, March 19. 1944 at 3 o'clock, conducted by the Revs. E. Floyd Olive and F. F. Moore. Pallbearers: Dr. T. R. Guill, Dr. Lee Wright, H. E. Telford, J. L.Telford, Murray Lester, Alonzo Wright, J. D. Eakes and Joe Pennington. Interment Hollis Wright Cemetery. McMillian and Hibbets. Director
