Hart Andrews also known as Mr. H. was a preacher. He preached at Jonesville and a number of churches in Liberty County, GA. He lived with his wife "Nellie" at Station #2, Fleming, GA. Their children were Katie Andrews Crowley; Neda, Etta, Josiah, Arthur, Martha "Lettie" Andrews Ashmore and infant Andrews. His nearest neighbors was Mary Carter Feaster and her husband William Joseph "Josie" Feaster. Mary wrote a number of letters to her friend Amanda Chapman "Mannie" (She later changed her name to May Mara) and these letters were found in the attic of a dentist office in the 1950's. They were published in a pamphlet entitled Dear Mannie. Mary refers to Nellie as her cousin. Mary Carter Feaster's mother was an Ashmore.
