She was born November 28, 1921, in Hazel Dell Township to the late Fred and Jane (Woodruff) Bracker. She graduated Beebeetown, Iowa High School in 1939, and attended Simpson College and U.N.O. Sara taught 4th grade at Bentley School in her early years and later was a medical assistant for Dr.'s Pantano and Mathiasen, retiring in 1991. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Council Bluffs. Sara had a beautiful singing voice and she used this talent in the church choir.
In addition to her parents; Sara was preceded in death by her husband, Beauford "Bud" Billesbach, in 1985; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Sara is survived by her stepchildren, Timothy, Bruce and Robert Billesbach and Karen Johnson; many nieces and nephews.
