Effie Estelle Wells, 63, of 408 Azelia St., Panama City Beach, died Monday morning in a local hospital. She was a native of Alabama and had been a resident of here for the past 13 years, having moved from Bessemer, Alabama.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Janeet Humphreys and Mrs. Helen Bond both of Panama City Beach; two sons, Bobby Wells of Mobile, Alabama, and Billy Wells, of Bessemer; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Arnold Chapel Church, near Bessemer, with the Rev. Ben Hogan officiating. Interment will follow in Bluff Ridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Wells will lie in state at Smith Funeral Home today and tonight.
Grandson will serve as pallbearers.
**NOTE** Although the obit states she is buried in Bluff Ridge Cemetery that is incorrect. She is buried by her parents in Arnolds Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery.
