Born July 23, 1917, in York, a son of the late John M. and Margie M. (Stough) Brenner.
He was retired as a production control specialist from Olmstead Air Force Base in Middletown, where he had been employed for 27 years. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps Veteran of WWII, serving in the 713th Air Materials Squadron. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, the Hawk Gunning Club, and Wormleysburg American Legion Post 945.
Mr. Brenner is survived by five sons, Robert E. Brenner, Steven P. Good, and Robert C. Stough and his wife, Dee, all of York, Gary R. Good and his wife, Susan of Manchester, and Stanley K. Good of Liverpool; a daughter, Joan S. Brenner of York; a stepdaughter, Cathy Caldarone of York; 11 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson. He was also preceded in death by a stepson, Richard P. Roberts.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church, 2215 Brandywine Lane, York, with The Rev. Stanley W. Combs and The Rev. Dr. Janyce C. Jorgensen officiating. Viewing will be 1 to 2 p.m.
Private burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, with military rites presented by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. William E. Little Funeral Homes, Inc., 60 S. Main St., Manchester, is in charge of arrangements.
