Robert J. Adams, 82, of Greenfield, died Tuesday, March 30, 1999, at his residence.
He was born July 31, 1916, in Highland County, the son of John Quincy Adams and Bertha (July) Adams.
He was a member of Greenfield First United Methodist Church, was a retired farmer and served in the U. S. Air Force in World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Sulcebarger Adams, whom he married Aug. 14, 1968; one brother and sister-in-law, William A. and Ruth Adams of Greenfield; and two nephews, John Adams of Columbus and Tom Adams of Dayton.
He was preceded in death by both parents.
Funeral services will be held 4 P.M. Friday, April 2, at the Murray Funeral Home, Greenfield, with the Rev. John Gray officiating.
Burial will be in Greenfield Cemetery.
Military rites will be provided by the Highland County Honor Guard.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
