died at her home on the Curry pike Wednesday afternoon. Mrs.
Hendren was 49 years old. She was born in Washington county,
the daughter of Michael and Amanda Watts Bruner.
The funeral service was yesterday morning at 11:00 o'clock
at the Mt. Zion church in Washington county. Burial followed
in Battle cemetery. The services were conducted by the Rev. N.
W. Burks.
Mrs. Hendren is survived by her husband and eleven children: Earl, Golden, Reed, Eugene, Ezra, Tom, of Mercer county; and Roy Hendren, of Perryville; Mamie and Katie at home; Mrs. Golden Moberly, of Cornishville; and Mrs. Homer
Freeman, Rose Hill. She is also survived by several brothers and
sisters.
