He was born on October 4, 1891, to Martinis and Ida Ellen Deaton Anderson. He married Ruth Mabel Mason on August 12, 1914, in Richfield, Utah. She preceded him in death on November 27, 1994. They celebrated their 80th wedding anniversary on August 12, 1994.
They had the following Children:
1. Jesston "Justin" Anderson. (Still Living)
2. Monte Anderson. (Still Living)
3. Veldon Harmel Anderson. (1917-2001)
4. Donna Laverne Anderson. (1919-1996)
5. Foy Anderson. (1922-1925)
Ralph was taught by his father to be a blacksmith and carpenter. He was a trapper for the US Government. In 1947, he moved to Springville and worked as a carpenter. He worked for Christiansen Bros. and helped build buildings at BYU, churches and schools. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He last hunted when he was 95.
Funeral Services were held on Friday, October 13, 1995, at the Wheeler Mortuary, at 10 A.M. Friends attended a Viewing on Thursday Evening from 6 to 8 P.M. and on Friday Morning One Hour Prior To Services.
Graveside Services followed at the Aurora City Cemetery in Aurora, Utah where he was buried beside his Beloved Wife Ruth.
