Services were held at the house Thursday afternoon, Feb. 21, at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. J. H. Cornelius. Friday morning the body was taken to her old home at Malinta, O.
Services were held there Sunday afternoon at the English Lutheran church, of which she had been a member since her youth, conducted by the Rev. De Witte, after which the body was laid to rest in the Hoy cemetery.
She is survived by her son-in-law, P. M. Ballard, and five grandchildren, Charles Ballard of Grout, C. F. and F. L. Ballard and Miss May Ballard of Gladwin and Mrs. Fred Spike of Flint, Mich. Gladwin County Record dated 3-7/1918 Column - 6 Page - 5.
