Alma (Diede) Williams, age 85, passed away October 4, 2011, in Bloomington, MN. Alma Diede was born in Sultan, WA and grew up in Wenatchee, WA, where she graduated from Wenatchee High School, Class of 1944. On July 23, 1949, Alma married Eugene Williams in St. Joseph's Church in Wenatchee. They moved to Seattle, then to Bloomington, MN, where Eugene was employed by Northwest Airlines. He retired as a pilot in 1991, after 40 years with NWA.
Alma is survived by her husband of 62 years, Eugene; son, Bruce; daughter, Mary Ann; three grandsons; two granddaughters; and one great-grandson.
Interment has taken place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
