Middletown - Stanley T. Budd, 80, of 78 Highland Ave., Middletown, died unexpectedly Thursday at his home.
Born in Phillipsport Dec. 23, 1885, he was the son of Henry G. and Minnie Tice Budd. He married Lillian Sundstrom, who is deceased.
A lifelong resident of Middletown, he was a hotel owner. He was a member of the Webb Horton Memorial Presbyterian Church, and of Hoffman Lodge 412 F. & A. M.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Mae Doyle of Middletown, and Mrs. Hilda Evans of Ansonia, Conn.; several nieces and nephews.
The Rev. Raymond B. Knudsen will conduct funeral services.
Burial will be in the Poplar Grove Cemetery, Middletown.
