A. H. Ludolph, 76, a Freeport insurance agent and real estate broker who was an active member of the Green County Shrine Club of Monroe, died at 7 p.m. Saturday in Freeport Memorial Hospital after a six weeks illness. He was a lifelong resident of Freeport where he was born Oct. 4, 1889, the son of Charles and Dora Ludolph. He was a city alderman and assistant township supervisor and a member of Tebala Shrine of Rockford.
Surviving are his wife, Thelma; two daughters, Mrs. Earl Kielsmeier, Freeport and Mrs. Leonard Fry, Rockford; a brother, Carl, Freeport, four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Second Presbyterian Church at Freeport. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Masonic rites will be at 8 tonight in the Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home, Freeport. Friends may call. A memorial has been established in his memory.
