June Harrison passed away Nov. 27, 2010 at Marlow Manor Assisted Living Home.

June was born in Olathe, Colo. On May 15, 1920. She was the eighth of ten children born to Golbert Lee Corey and Lulubelle Mae (Kline) Corey.

After graduating from Olathe High School, she met the love of her life, Herbert S "Pete" Harrison. They lived in South Orange, N.J. then Delta, Colo. And finally moved to Prosser, where they raised their family Sharon, Steve and Richard. Pete and June moved to Alaska in December 1983.
June was Worth Matron of the Prosser Chapter of Eastern Star. She won residential awards for her beautiful landscaping and gardening. June also made the most beautiful wedding cakes. June's lifetime passions were gardening, making/collection dolls, and cooking. All her life she grew beautiful vegetables/fruits for her friends and neighbors. Her yard was alive with colorful flowers and brushes. She was a longtime member of the Anchorage Doll Club. She made beautiful, distinctive dolls from their body parts to their clothes. June loved to cook for her family and friends.

She was preceded I death by her husband Herbert S. "Pete" Harrison in 2003; also her brothers Gene, Horace, Irwin, Gilbert; and her sisters Irene, Ruth, and Fern.

June's family was her life; her love of family lives on through each of them. June shared loving laughter and close companionship with her beloved husband, Pete for 62 years. Their caring relationship was the model for many of their friends and all of their children. All who came in contact with June recognized her to be a fun, vibrant woman who was easy to like and always ready to laugh.

Survivors include children Sharon Harrison, Anchorage; Steve Harrison, Willow; Rich Harrison, Prosser: grandchildren Tricia Miller, Eagle River; Steve Harrison Jr, Talkeetna; Pete Harrison, Eagle River; Keaton, Brenton and Brooklyn Harrison, Eagle River; Corey Stephen and Hazelee June Harrison, Talkeetna; siblings Rosalie and Jack.

In lieu of flowers, family asks that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
