BREMEN - Daniece V. Rowe, 69, died of natural causes at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 5, in the Catherine Kasper Home, Donaldson. She was born on January 15, 1938, in South Bend, to the late Bruce and Yvonne (Brollier) Spencer. On Nov. 25, 1956, she married John M. Rowe, who preceded her in death on January 6, 2004. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Thomas Spencer, and by her father-in-law, Beuford Rowe. She was a lifetime area resident, a housewife and mother, a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Bremen, and the treasurer of Community Hospital of Bremen Auxiliary. She had received an Achievement award from Sen. Richard Lugar, was an election precinct pool inspector and was also a precinct committee person. Survivors include three daughters, Diana (Craig) Schoof of Plymouth, Cindy (Terry) Cinal of Mishawaka and Lisa (John) Scott of Bremen; a son, John (Toni) Rowe of Bremen; five grandchildren, Kyle and Krista Schoof, Nick and Jason Scott, and Hannah Rowe; three step-grandchildren, Nate, Shannon and Shane Cinal; a sister, Jeri (Duwaine) Elliott of Bremen; a mother-in-law, Olive Rowe of Bremen; two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, May 10, in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 605 S. Center St., Bremen, with Pastor Neil Wonnacott officiating. Private graveside services will follow at Bremen Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, and one hour before services on Thursday. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, to Community Hospital of Bremen or to the Alzheimer's Association. The Mishler Funeral Home in Bremen is assisting the family with arrangements.
