Funeral services will be held Monday at 8:30 a.m. in the Halligan funeral home and at 9 in Holy Family church for Alfred L. Taylor, resident of Davenport, who died at 10:30 p.m. Friday in his home, 1432 West Fourteenth street, following a three-months' illness. The rosary will be recited tonight at 8 in the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary cemetery, Davenport.
Mr. Taylor, a retired Rock Island arsenal employee was born in Quincy, Ill., Jan. 31, 1868, and married Mary Guenthermann Nov. 17, 1892, in Freeport, Ill. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Harry and Earl, both of Davenport; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Vogt and Miss Norma Taylor, both of Davenport; two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
