Eminence, Ky., Dec. 9. --- Henry S. Drane, 77, died Monday at King's Daughters Hospital, Shelbyville, after a short illness.

Henry Shawhan Drane

CYNTHIANA. Dec. 9. --- Henry Shawhan Drane, 77, a retired farmer of Eminence, died at 11:45 p.m. Monday at the King's Daughter's Hospital, Shelbyville, after a four-day illness. He was a member of the Eminence Christian Church and the Masonic Lodge there.

He is survived by one niece, Mrs. Anna Sue Waits, Harrison County; one nephew, Henry Clay Eals, of Seattle, Wash.; and three great-nieces, Mrs. William Price, Lexington; Mrs. Edward A. Whaley, and Miss Susan Vimont Miller, Cynthiana.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. (EST) Wednesday at the Ricketts Funeral Home, Eminence, by the Rev. Eugene Utterback. Burial will be in the Eminence Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Stephen Drane, Edward Drane, Robert Drane, Gane Herndon, Edwin Keller, Thomas Clore and Claude Berry.

The body is at the Whaley Funeral Home, and will be moved to Eminence prior to service time.
