The community was greatly shocked, Monday morning, to hear that Mrs. W. Henry Gokey, of Salina St., had been taken by death that morning about four o'clock Mrs. Gokey had pnuemonia and fought a good fight but was unable to overcome the ravages of the dread malady.
Mrs. Gokey was born at Daysville, March 26th, 1878. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James V. Ellis, of Daysville, who survive her. In 1903 she was united in marriage with W. H enry Gokey and they came to Pulaski to reside, where they have since remained. She was a member of the Methodist church. She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Lucille and a son, Erson. Funeral services will be held t his afternoon, at 1:30, from the family home and at 2:30 at the Methodist church, Rev. E.H. Scott will have charge. Burial in Willis cemetery.
