Martha Brock Kytle, age 89, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, the 15th of May 2012, in Houston.
She was born in Boaz, Alabama on the 29th of January 1923, to George and Myrtle Brock. She married Elton Kytle on the 27th of August 1944.
Martha was a devout Christian and very active in her church. She was very passionate about ceramics. She also enjoyed sewing, needlework and a variety of other crafts.
Martha was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Elton Kytle; and her son, Kenneth Kytle. Martha is survived by her son, Gerald Kytle; her daughter, Joyce Kytle Lehmann and husband, Allen. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Amy Kytle Wright, Brian Kytle, Carrie Kytle, Christopher Kytle and Phillip Lehmann; as well as great grandchildren, Garett Kytle, Brandilynne Kytle, Zoe Kytle and Logan Kytle.
The family wishes to extend their thanks to her many friends at Willow Meadows Meadows Baptist Church and appreciation for all of their support and friendship over the years.
The funeral service is to be conducted at one o'clock in the afternoon on Monday, the 21st of May, in the sanctuary of Willow Meadows Baptist Church, 4300 West Bellfort Avenue in Houston, where Matthew Vandagriff, Senior Pastor, is to officiate. Prior to the service, during the noon hour, the family will receive friends during a visitation in the sanctuary.
The graveside service is to immediately follow, via an escorted cortege, at Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston.
