Deceased Name: JOSEPH E. BUNKER
Joseph E. Bunker, 57, of Lehighton R.1, was dead on arrival Sunday at Gnaden Huetten Hospital, Lehighton. Carbon County Deputy Coroner Walter Hunsicker attributed death to natural causes.

Bunker was the husband of Joyce E. (Montgomery) Bunker.

He was assistant to the president of Blue Ridge Pressure Casting, Inc., Lehighton.

Born in Cherokee, Iowa, he was a son of Vera (Stewart) Bunker of LaVerne, Calif., and the late Joseph E. Bunker Sr.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

He was past president of the Kiwanis Club of Carbon County.

Surviving with his widow and mother are three sons, Michael of Gardiner, Mont., Craig of Savannah, Ga., and Scott, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Eddie Jo Bingham of Schnecksville; a brother Jack of Boise, Idaho; two sisters, Marilyn, wife of Wayne Winters of Hayward, Calif., and Charlene, wife of Bus Ellis in Oregon, and a grandchild.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday from the Andrew P. Ovsak Funeral Home, 4th and Iron streets, Lehighton. Calling hours will be 7-9 p.m. Wednesday.
