Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Dennis will be conducted by the Rev. William Schlelffarth at 2 p.m. Saturday in the First Christian Church. Burial will be in Morris Chapel Cemetery near Linneus
The body of Mrs. Dennis was discovered yesterday afternoon at her home, 424 South Livingston St. Death was attributed to natural causes.
She was the daughter of Abbott and Laura Brown Cooper and was born Sept 9, 1891 near Malta Bend. On Aug. 11, 1910, she was married to George W. Dennis.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lewis (Evelyn) Chapman, Wheeling, and Mrs. Gerald (Ethel) Main, Brookfield, a son, Ray, Brookfield; and a step-daughter, Mrs. Vera Long, Fayette; a sister Mrs. Addie Reed, El Monte, Calif.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, Kermit and George Edward, a grandson, George Angelo Dennis, four brothers and two sisters.
She was a member of the First Christian Church of Brookfield, and of its Circle 2. The body will be at Hill Funeral Home until noon Saturday.
