HENRY J. SIMON
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 1995, at 6176 SE Parmenter Court in Milwaukie.
Mr. Simon died April 24 at age 88. He was born in Breckenridge, Texas. He had lived in the Portland area since 1939. He was a marine engineer, retiring in 1969. He served in the merchant marine.
He is survived by his son, Michael of Troutdale; and one grandchild.
Internment will be private.

Per WWII records and Texas Birth Records Certificate #35997 #166, Henry Joseph "Joe" Simon was born 16 February 1907 in Bracken, Comal, Texas to Henry William Simon and wife, Margaret Elizabeth Cox.
He married Verla Rae Goodall, daughter of Roy Goodall and Lela Adkinson, both of Idaho. This was her second marriage.
