Alta Foreman dies Thursday
LORIMOR - Mrs. Alta Foreman, 72, a resident of Lorimor the past 17 years, died Friday night at Greater Community hospital in Creston.
The body is at the Watts-Sol funeral home here where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday with Frank Tyson and Charles Preston officiating and burial in the Barney cemetery.
Born March 15, 1900, she was the daughter of James R. and Laura Palmer Cornelison and was born in Madison county. On Sept 4, 1935, she was married to Frank I. Foreman at Osceola and he and a step son and sister preceded her in death.
Survivors include two step children, Mrs. Mames (Ollie) Van Rossum and Mrs. William (Wilma) Goodman, both of Lorimor, and a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Ortha Foreman of Macksburg. Four sisters also survive, Mrs. Roma Schafer of Creston, Mrs. Myrtle Browns of Colorado Springs, Mrs. Carrie Stone of Afton and Evea German of Murray, and a brother, Oliver Cornelison of Zearing.
