Lela Pearl Ohlhausen, of Sweetwater, died in Gilmer, Texas on Thursday, May 17. She was 96 years old.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, May 21 at 2:00 p.m. at Caps Cemetery near Abilene. Her family will be officiating.
Mrs. Ohlhausen was born on October 23, 1915 in Taylor, Co. She married Dr. Olan Ohlhausen on March 6, 1938. She married Jack Jennings on October 21, 1990 and W.H. Lagal on October 12, 1997. All three husbands preceded her in death.
She was a long time member of the 4th and Elm Church of Christ. Lela was a homemaker and catered wedding and anniversary cakes out of her home. She lived in Sweetwater since 1951.
Survivors include: Daughter-Jackie Pearl Burks of Austin, TX; 2 Sons-Orlan Dean Ohlhausen and his wife, Barbara, of Winona, TX, Ray S. Ohlhausen and his wife, Zane, of Hooks, TX; 1 Sister-Claudie Wiggins of Weatherford, TX; and 6 grandchildren.
