Burk preached the funeral sermon at the M.E. church April 2, 1904, and the remains were interred in the Stipp's Hill cemetery. Mrs. Cassaday was about 27 years of age and leaves a husband, father, mother, brother and sisters to mourn, but they have the memory of a sweet, gentle, patient christian woman to comfort them.
