Anderson - Mable M. (Weaver) Gaines Decker, 93, Anderson, died May 09, 2012 at her residence.
She was born April 11, 1919 in Anderson, Indiana, and was a lifelong resident.
Mable retired in January of 1981 from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 28 years of service.
She was a member of Anderson Baptist Church and a longtime member of Ivy Rebakah Lodge #381.
She loved to read and was an avid Pacer fan. Mable loved her family and enjoyed Keenagers at Grace Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Michael "Ted" Gaines (Becky) of Greenfield, Lanny R. Gaines (Judy) and Vickie R. Williams (Bob) of Anderson, fourteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, special friends, Mildred Jones & Donna Murphy and her puppy, Peytor.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Gaines; parents Hige A. and Myrtle (Ashby) Weaver; daughter, Dixie Bullard; one brother, Kenneth Paul; four sisters, Dorothy Martin, Mildred Dubuque, Hazel Pickering & Opal Oliver.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Hospice nurses and a special thank you to Donna German for taking care of mom at Keenagers and for sitting with her.
Services will be Tuesday May 15, 2012 at 10:00 am, at Anderson Baptist Church 4301 S. Scatterfield Road Anderson, Indiana 46013 with Rev. Charles Webb officiating.
Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson.
