William (Will) Price was born February 24, 1884, at Hollis, Kansas, son of Euclid and Mary (Payne) Price, and died at West View Manor Nursing Home in Derby, Kansas, on October 5, 1982. He was 96.

On September 4, 1904, he married Uree Elvira Rossiter in Hollis. She died October 18, 1952. He married Mary Gardner on March 10, 1962, in Belleville.

He lived most of his life in Cloud and Republic Counties, residing in Republic for 16 years. He was a retired farmer. For the past two years he made his home with his daughter, Mrs. David Noel, in Derby.

He attended District No. 30 Grade School, Hollis, and two years at Concordia Normal Business School. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Republic.

He was preceded in death by his wife Uree; a son, Norman; a daughter, Shirley; his parents and six sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; a son, Gerald Price of Concordia; one daughter, Velma Noel of Derby; and one granddaughter.

Funeral services were held October 8, 1982, at the Chaput Buoy Funeral Chapel in Concordia with Rev. James Bush officiating. Burial was in the Hollis Cemetery.
