Fayenell Welch, 77, of West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma, died May 16, 2012, at Circle of Life Hospice, Springdale, Arkansas.
Born August 4, 1934, in Chewey, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Chester Erickson and Willie Lingle Erickson.
She was a beautician and a clerk at Anthony's and Stage. She married George "Bill" Welch on September 4, 1951, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She enjoyed listening to southern gospel music and was a member of East Kenwood Missionary Baptist Church, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and one brother, Johnny Erickson.
Survivors include one daughter, Rosalinda Smith and husband Mike of West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma; two sons, Ron Welch and Randy Welch, both of West Siloam Springs; four granddaughters; three great grandsons; one great granddaughter; two great great grandsons; and a host of family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Ron Welch, Mike Smith, David Welch, Randy Welch, Bart Leber, and Kelby Shawver.
Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Shawver, Ron McFadin, and Ron Kissinger. Flower girls will be Jenny Leber, Dee Smith, Keisha Welch and Shanell Welch.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 19, 2012, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, with Brother Marvin Loyd and Ronnie Bradshaw officiating.
Burial will follow at Bell Cemetery, near Watts, Oklahoma.
