He was born July 12, 1930 in Ottawa, Illinois the only child of Francis David Cunningham and Myra Jeanette Pack Cunningham. He married Margaret Ann Hebel on March 25, 1950 in Scottsburg, Indiana. To this union one daughter was born, Jeanette Louise Cunningham.
He was a bricklayer by trade, an avid hunter, fisherman and musician. He loved the outdoors, shooting his guns and being a trickster.
He was a US Army Veteran of World War II and a member of Valley Chapel pf Prayer.
He is survived by his daughter, Jeanette Rigdon and three grandsons, William Lewis Humble Jr., Randall Lee Thornsberry Jr. and Jason Michael Thornberry; a aunt, Ruby Pearl Pack; several cousins, Georgia Rose Riechers, William S. "Bill" Pack, Thelma Whelan, Raymond Hall, Wilma Atchley, Martha Bratton, Linda Wood and Dorothy Larsen.
Burial will be in Cave Hill Cemetery
