Thomas Ivan Nevill, son of James and Mary Nevill was born January 21, 1890 in Clare, Michigan and departed this life on October 10, 1954 at the age of 64 years, 8 months and 19 days, at his home in Sheridan township, Clare County.

He was married to Miss Ellen Elliott on December 6, 1911, To this union was born four sons, James, Loran, Wilmer and Ronald.

His home was in Vernon Township, Isabella County until 1933 at which time he moved to his present home in Sheridan township in Clare County.

He is survived by his wife Ellen four sons, James of Midland, Loran, Wilmer and Ronald of Clare. Ten grandchildren, one sister, Ada Nevill, of Clare and host of relatives and friends.

He was a kind and loving husband and father. He lived for his home and loved ones. To know him was to love him and respect him. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Prayer was held at the home and services were from the Methodist Church in Clare, Wednesday afternoon October. 13 with burial in Cherry Grove Cemetery.

Rev. Joseph Vanderveen officiated and arrangments were in charge of the Stephenson Funeral Home. Clare Sentinel dated 21 October 1954
