Bettie Stewart, 84, Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of Minneapolis, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2012. Bettie was born July 12, 1927 in Columbia, MO to Thomas and Grace Kehner.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Minneapolis Chamberettes. She was united in marriage with Lyman Stewart on April 28, 1972 in Bethany, MO. Bettie moved to Florida to be close to family in 1996.

She was preceded in death by Lyman in 1993; step-son Robert Stewart in 2011 and a step-grandson Mark Mackender.

Survivors include her children, Larry Hurst and his wife Rhonda and Donna Cohen and her husband Sandy; step-daughter-in-law Elaine Stewart; step-daughter Joyce Mackender; her sister Martha Campbell and her husband Bud; grandchildren Kelsey Hurst, Jamie Rivas and his wife Charissa; step-grandchildren Greg Stewart, Deb Walle, Jennifer Muller, Pam Blechinger, and Cary Smith; great-granddaughter Darla; step-great-grandchildren Jason, Colton, and Tanner Walle, Kimberly Kaschke, Stephanie Pedersen, Preston, Sierra, and Madeleine Stewart,Walton and Bailey Muller, Matt and Alli Smith and Katie Blechinger; and numerous step-great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 3 P.M. Saturday at Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis. The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. Saturday at Wilson Family Funeral Home.
