DR. W. S. RUBRIGHT

Dr. W. S. Rubright, one of the best known chiropractors of Western Pennsylvania, died at his home in McKeesport, Dec. 9, at 3:30 A. M., at the age of 62 years and 27 days, of heart trouble. He was sick only nine days.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Laura Bender Rubright, and three sisters: Mrs.Lydia Engle of Meyersdale, Mrs. Etta Florence Fornwald of McKeesport, and Mrs. Orpha Thomas of Elk Lick Township.

Mr. Rubright was the eldest son of the late George and Lucy Ann (Studebaker) Rubright, well known and respected citizens of Summit Mills. Seven sisters and one brother preceded him in death many years ago. He was born and reared in Summit Mills, and when a young man helped his father at the smithing trade, until finally he mastered the trade. in 1885 he married Miss Laura Bender, oldest daughter of the late Eli and Diana (Ringer) Bender, well known residents of Listonburg.

Mr. and Mrs. Rubright were blest with twin daughters, both dying in infancy.

In 1888 Mr. Rubright located in Meyersdale where he worked at the blacksmith trade for some time doing a successful business, being known as an expert mechanic and horse shoer.

In 1892 he located in Markleysburg, Fayette County, where he still followed the smithing trade. By and by, having sold his horse and shop there, he purchased a farm near Listonburg and engaged in farming.
