June L. Koonce-Schrader, 89, of St. Clairsville, Ohio formerly of Shadyside, Ohio died Tuesday May 15, 2012 at the Cumberland Pointe Health & Rehabilitation Center, St. Clairsville.
She was born July 8, 1922 at Wheeling, WV a daughter of the late Harry and Bertha Eberhart Bonar.
June was a homemaker and a member of the Bellaire Christian Disciples of Christ Church and a graduate of the Bellaire High School, Class of 1940 where she was proud to have been a cheerleader.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Carl D. Koonce in 1993, her second husband Howard Schrader in 2007 and one brother Jack Bonar.
Surviving are three sons; Gerald "Jerry" (Judie) Koonce of Belmont, Ohio, Carl "Skip" (Nancy) Koonce of Wheeling and Michael "Mike" (Donna Yoho) Koonce of Shadyside, one brother; William "Bill" (Mav) Bonar of Marietta, Ohio and two grandsons; Jason and Adam Koonce.
Friends will be received Thursday from 4-8 pm at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home & Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, Ohio where services will be held on Friday at 11 am.
Burial follows in Belmont County Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
