Farmer of Area Dies at Age 65

Valentine Weber, 65, Route 1, Mount Calvary, died at 4 a.m. today at his home.

He was born Feb. 14, 1904, at Mount Calvary, a son of William and Barbara Schrage Weber. He married Loretta Gundert on Nov. 24, 1925.

Mr. Weber attended area schools and was a farmer his entire married life. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mount Calvary, and of the Holy Name Society.

Survivors include his widow; one son, Lawrence Weber of Mount Calvary; two daughters Mrs. James Marx of Route 3, Fond du Lac, and Mrs. Charles Schrage of Mount Calvary; 10 grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. John Morgan and Mrs. Ray Birschbach, both of Johnsburg, Mrs. Henry Keuler of Mount Calvary, Sister Mary Angela of Milwaukee, and Mrs. John Day of Arlington Heights, Ill; and three brothers, Barney Weber of Hoven, S.D., Eugene Weber of Sheboygan and August Weber of Menasha.

He was preceded in death by one son and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Lisowe-Huss Funeral Home, St. Lawrence Semnary Chapel, Mount Calvary, with the Rev. Earl Goeden, pastor of Holy Cross Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
