Mrs. Jennie Henderson, 72, of 818 Walnut street, died suddenly about 4 a.m. today at the home of her son, Wayne Henderson, at Cedar Rapids. She had resided with her son since December 20, 1960.
Mrs. Henderson was born in Johnson county April 30, 1888, the daughter of Frank and Emma Gary Michael. She was married to Zach Henderson September 18, 1907, at Sac City, and has been a resident of Iowa City since their marriage.
Survivors include the son; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Fred Michael of Iowa City; William Michael of Des Moines; and Frank Michael of Anamosa; and two sisters, Mrs Laura Pohler of Solon, and Mrs. Maggie Cox of Iowa City.
Her husband and a son, LuVerne, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at McGovern funeral home. Burial will be in Memory Gardens.
