Drenna Jean Dial Oxendine, 36, died Friday afternoon. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 5 p.m. at Harpers Ferry Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Jones, assisted by the Rev. James H. Woods, and Rev. Jack Hunt, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors include her husband Joe Oxendine, three daughters, Barbara Jo Oxendine, Anna Maria Oxendine, and Carla Kay Oxendine, all of the home, her mother, Miss Lillie Mae Dial, Pembroke, one sister, Mrs. Douglas Hunt, Pembroke, one brother, Lacy Dial Jr., of Louisiana.
The family will receive tonight from 7 until 9 at Revels Funeral home.
***NOTE: She had the married name of Oxendine at the time of her death, but her headstone reads Dial. Her death date was Jul. 8, 1977 according to the NC Death Index.
