Services for Manning Bohannon 51, who died Thursday in a Vidalia hospital after a brief illness, will be held at 3 pm today in Hazlehurst Church of God. Burial will be in Hazlehurst City Cemetery. Mr Bohannon, a lifelong resident of Jeff Davis County, was employed with Hazlehurst Mills. Survivors include his wife Mrs Viola Bohannon of Hazlehurst; three daughters Mrs Laverne Ellis of Jacksonville Fla; Miss Jeannie Bohannon and Mrs Jeanell Davis both of Hazlehurst; two sons Lannie Bohannon and Danny Bohannon both of Hazlehurst; five sisters Mrs Myrtle Anderson, Mrs Sallie Mae Bryant, Mrs Florrie Foskey, Mrs Lizzie Lytle and Mrs Isabell Rowell all of Hazlehurst; three brothers IE Bohannon, Foster Bohannon and Ambers Bohannon all of Hazlehurst, and five grandchildren. Miles Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
