James "Jimmy" B. Berry 81 of Buford died 4-22-2009. Funeral service will be Saturday in the Chapel of Tapp/Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Jon Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Broadlawn Memorial Gardens.
He was a U S Army Korean War veteran; retired after 33 1/2 years from the Bona Allen Tannery; a member of First Baptist Church of Buford, and a member of Adult IV Men's Bible Class.
He was preceded in death by parents, James & Carrie Berry; brother, Kenneth Berry; sister, Frances Sims; granddaughters, Jennifer Berry and Natalie Mercier; son-in-law, Harry Mercier.
Survived by wife of 60 years, Janice Berry; sons, Kenneth Berry and Bobby (Helen) Berry; daughters, Ruth Jane (Gaines) Price and Marie Mercier, all of Buford; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.
