One of our prominent old settlers, John H. Williams, passed away at his home March 5th. He had been sick for several months, part of the time bedfast, but the most of the time up and around and able to attend to his business. He was a kind neighbor and was quite successful as a rancher. The people of Konantz extend their sympathy to the surviving wife and four children. The deceased was sixty-one years, ten months and ten days of age. The funeral was conducted at Konantz school house by Rev. Chas. Dean. ---Konantz correspondent.
