COLUMBIA - Services for Juanita Rosa Pound, 80, of Columbia, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 15, 2004, in the Chapel of Hope at Southland Memorial Gardens, officiated by Rev. John McKeown. Burial will follow. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Thompson Funeral Home of West Columbia.
Mrs. Pound, widow of Drexel Daniel Pound, died Sunday. Born in Gaston, she was a daughter of the late Murray W. and Notie Mae Sanders Busbee. Mrs. Pound, a lifetime area resident, was a retired seamstress.
Surviving are her daughters and son-in-law, Patricia and Haskell Yenny of Irmo, Tessa Martin of Columbia; eleven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Pound was predeceased by sons, Webster Thomas Pound and Finley Daniel Pound; 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.
