Funeral services for Ramona Charline Liming, 73, of Brush, will be held Monday, May 2nd, at 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church of Akron with Rev. Jon Priebe officiating.
Ramona passed away Monday, April 25th, at Eben Ezer Care Center in Brush with loving family at her side.

Ramona Charline Parker was born March 7, 1938, in Brush, Colorado, to David Delbert and Mabel Faye (Tennant) Parker. She was a lifelong Christian.

The family farmed in Elba, Colorado, and then the family moved to Rago, Colorado, where they operated the store and post office, before moving to Akron, Colorado, where Ramona attended Akron High School graduating in 1955.

It was in Akron that Ramona met her first husband, Melvin Alday. They were united in marriage on December 4, 1956, in Bainbridge, Georgia, returning to Akron in 1958 to make their home. To this union three daughters were born Roxanna in 1958, Rhoda in 1959, and Rendolynn in 1967. Ramona and Melvin were divorced, and on September 28,1981, Ramona married Neil Liming of Kirk, Colorado.

Ramona was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Mabel Parker; husband, Neil Liming; brothers, Delbert Parker and Warren Parker; daughters, Roxanna Alday and Rhoda Conway; nephew, Douglas Workman; and great-nephew, Joseph Parker.

Ramona is survived by her daughter, Rendolynn (Shannon) Greene; grandson, Zack Humbert; granddaughter Serena Humbert (Marcus Weber); great granddaughter, Maura Weber all of Akron; sister Carolyn (Victor) Workman, Greeley; brothers, Leroy (Eileen) Parker, Ridgecrest, CA; Richard (Elza Ann) Parker, Akron; and Merlin Parker, Newberry Springs, CA; close family friend, Ron Yaxley; and sister-in-law, Kathy Parker, La Junta as well as several nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society.

NOTE: Ramona has a stone in Akron Cemetery, not Kirk Cemetery.
