Chicago Heights, a son Gunther Baumann Jr., of Chicago Heights and a daughter Karin (Steven) McNeil of So. Chicago Heights. 4 grandchildren; Katherine, William, Steven Jr. (Brooke) and Anna. 1 great grandson Steven. She is also survived by 5 sisters, Hannelore (Jim) Cox, Karin (Andy) Evers, Helga (Dean) LaFountain, Brigette (Albert) Bates and Irene (Chi) Diep. 2 brothers Willi (Mui) Schoen and Frank (Carole) Schoen. She was preceded in death by her parents Willi and Erika Schoen and a brother Hans Schoen. Funeral services for Edeltraut will be held on Thursday June 28th at 11:00 am at Smits Funeral Homes - Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd., Steger, IL. Interment will be at Skyline Memorial Park Cemetery Monee, IL. Visitation will be on Wednesday June 27th from 2:00 till 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
