JOSEPHINE JULIA VANCE, age 92, of Devine passed away Thursday, July 8, 2010 at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her husband Albert Vance, and by her parents William & Freida(Weber) Santleben.

She is survived by her daughter Brenda Vance of Devine; brothers: Alvin and Floyd Santleben both of LaCoste; grandchildren: Vance Meade and wife Karen of San Antonio, Christin Thompson and husband Keith of San Antonio, Terri Heath and husband Bryan of San Antonio and Todd Walton of Galveston; great-grandchildren: Meagan Hein, Evan Meade, Seth Meade and Caden Heath.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 09, 2010 from 4PM until 9PM in the Chapel of the Hurley Funeral Home, Devine, with a rosary to be recited at 7PM. Mass will be celebrated at 10AM Saturday, July 10, 2010 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with interment to follow in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery.
