Lawrence Mallini was killed instantly when lightening struck his boat on Little Lake, east of Golden Meadow.
The bolt of lightning which struck the 16 foot outboard motorboat killed Mr. Mallini and knocked unconscious Blaze Lebet, the boat owner. The bolt fused the boat's steering gear and charred the cushions. Lebet was treated and released from the hospital.
