Laura I. Buffalow, 1921-2007, Blue Summit Laura Iona Buffalow, 85, of Blue Summit, died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007, at her home. She was born March 27, 1921, in Segrada, a daughter of Fredrick and Cora Essex Henderson. She was married to Wilbur "Bill" S. Buffalow, who died earlier.
Surviving are three sons, Thomas Eugene Crocker, and his wife, Rosalee, of Pleasant Valley, Arnold D. Crocker, and his wife, Sunny, of Alpine, Calif., and William R. Buffalow, and his wife, Pam, of Independence; two daughters, Geneva L. Grundon, and her husband, Ron, of Sedalia, and Dian Stine, and her husband, Rick, of Independence; a stepson, Donald L. Buffalow, and his wife, Karla, of Joplin; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by three sisters, Leona Cline, Esther Henderson and Viola Jones. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Washington Forever Funeral Home in Independence. Burial will be in Mt. Washington Forever Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, where a Job's Daughters service will begin at 7:30 p.m.
