Maggie Annie Ewing, 102, passed away Wednesday, 6/9/2004. She was born in Washita County, OK., to James & Missouri Harlan, on 9/21/1901. She was the youngest of 8 children. She attended Cowden Consolidated School. She married Orville Ewing 11/8/1922 in Chickasha, OK. Throughout her life, Maggie held a variety of jobs and positions. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Tuttle and lived her life by Biblical principles. She was a loving and incredibly devoted wife, mother, & grandmother. She enjoyed being with her family, sewing, quilting, gardening, and cooking. Staying mentally & physically active is what Maggie said contributed to longevity. She was preceded in death by her parents, 7 brothers & sisters, her husband of fifty years, Orville, and her son, Lowell. She is survived by her loving daughter-in-law, Elaine Ewing of Tuttle, OK., grandchildren, Cheryl Smith & husband Michael, Sandra Taylor and husband Ron, Glenda Berry and husband Charles, Loretta Storff and husband Steve, great grandchildren, Bryan McCharen, Jeff Smith, Jana Brown, Erick & Mindy Taylor, Jason Berry, Erin, Alison, & Lindsay Storff, and great great grandchildren, Jacob, Hannah, & Joseph Smith, and Loryn & Hadyn Brown.
